Baltimore: Cemetery Dance, 2015. First Thus.. This being copy number 421 of 750 copies signed by artists, Don Maitz and Glenn Chadbourne. In this deluxe edition additions to the book includes a three page author's introduction dated 2001; a four-page afterword by director Mick Gariss, who had eollaborated with King on 'The Stand' miniseries, entitled 'The Shining and Me;, and then a 30-page plus early draft of the story, entitled, 'The Shine.' A very fine, unread copy in d.j., and traycased.

Throughout the novel, King masterfully portrays the psychological horror of isolation, addiction, and the disintegration of the family unit. He explores themes of supernatural malevolence, the impact of past traumas, and the struggle against inner darkness. "The Shining" is celebrated for its atmospheric tension, vivid characterization, and the haunting portrayal of a family unraveling in the face of supernatural evil.
