The First UK printing published by Little, Brown & Co., UK in 1994. The Book is in Fine (as new) unread condition. The SIGNED LIMITED EDITION. This being number '119' of only 250 numbered copies bound in the publisher's original full green morocco, with gilt ruling and titling with all edges gilt. Signed by the Nobel Laureate, Nelson Mandela on the limitation page as called for. Housed in the publisher's original green slipcase which is also in Fine condition. The book is in exceptional pristine fine condition. There was also a signed edition, issued simultaneously in an edition of 1000 copies, which was bound in quarter leather and without a slipcase. This, the full leather deluxe edition is now extremely elusive. A very handsome production. Only the second copy we have handled. With the equally scarce 20 page booklet, Westminster Abbey Order of Service For 'The Service To Celebrate The Life And Work Of Nelson Mandela 18th July 1918 5th December 2013'. The booklet is in Fine condition. In addition, there is the scarce 8 page booklet, Westminster Abbey Order of Service 2018 for 'The Dedication Of A Memorial Stone To Nelson Mandela 18th July 1918 - 5th December 2013'. The booklet is in Fine condition. Accompanied with the Guardian 2007 booklet which is an edited version of Mandela's speech 'An ideal which I am prepared to die' which was part of the Guardian's 'Great speeches of the 20th Century' series.
