Publisher's original red cloth, gilt and black stamped spine, front and back covers stamped in black, pale yellow end papers. Color fold out map as frontispiece, additional map on page 27. Scott 4 : Whatmore F3. London: Cassell and Company (1885), 320 pages + 16 page catalog. This VG copy has some sun fading to spine, forward lean and is slightly shaken with cracked hinges, some soiling to cloth. Nice clean book block has lightly scattered foxing, tiny tear to f.f.e. and an un-ripped fold out map.
