HC/DJ 1st edition, 1st printing of Heaney's 2nd book. Inscribed by Heaney on the front endpage to poet, Vincent Balitas, with the final two lines of the book from his poem "Bogholes" written in chocolate colored felt tip and dated May 2, 1984: " The bogholes might be Atlantic seepage // The wet centre is bottomless."
