According to the LEC bibliography "most copies", but not all, are signed by her. Bound in publisher's full blue morocco, gold stamped. AEG. With illustrations by John Tenniel. A bit of scuffing and chipping to the corners as well as the head and tail of the spine of the binding. There is evidence of bookplate removal to the front free and fixed endpaper. Lacking slipcase.

It describes Alice's further adventures as she moves through a mirror into another fantastical world where she meets more peculiar characters and experiences a series of whimsical events.
