This VG copy has a sunned spine with a touch of fraying at both ends, slight forward lean, edge wear, some darkening and a few small soil spots. Cracked hinges, book block cracked in a couple of spots, 2 leaves of ad pages are unopened.

King Solomon's Mines is a novel by the English writer H. Rider Haggard, first published in 1885. It is one of the first English adventure novels set in Africa, and is considered to be the genesis of the 'Lost World' literary genre.
