The first U.S. edition of the author's first book, set in 'Poisonville', or 'Personville'. A Very Good copy in pink red boards, with the attractive decorated spine and a gold skull on the front board. A nice copy of a classic of detective fiction, apart from a few very faint marks (water drops?) to top right of front board. In a lovely reproduction dust jacket.

Red Harvest is a gritty crime novel by Dashiell Hammett that follows an unnamed detective, the Continental Op, as he uncovers the corruption in a bleak, crime-ridden town called Personville.
