Bedford, heavily-gilt spines in 6 compartments, a.e.g., marbled endpapers; upper cover of one volume unevenly faded, else a fine, beautifully bound set. Three volumes with the above-mentioned title, the fourth titled "Songs, chiefly in the Scottish dialect". All imprints but the last dated 1869.

This is one of the most famous collections of poetry by Robert Burns, which includes many of his most famous Scots verse and English-language poems.
