Publisher's original red paper covered boards with titles in white, black and silver to the spine and illustration to the upper board, in slipcase. A fine copy, the binding square and firm, the contents are clean throughout and without inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the fine structurally sound slipcase. Issued in a special edition of 500 numbered copies signed by Cixin Liu in black ink on the limitation page, the present example is numbered 416 (there was also an edition of 26 lettered copies). The first novel in the trilogy, 'The Three-Body Problem', won the 2015 Hugo Award for Best Novel, the final volume 'Death's End', won the 2017 Locus Award for Best Science Fiction Novel.
