First edition, first print. A very good copy in clean boards, sunned at the spine. No tears to the cloth. Lightly rubbed corners; corners still quite firm, bar one that is creased. Mark to top of spine, a couple of marks to top edge of front board, otherwise the cloth is very clean. Board edges are not bumped. Text block clean bar a few small spots to the top edge. Internally very clean pages - see the photos. Light offsetting to the free endpapers and a small mark (both darker by several shades in the photo than in reality) on the front free endpaper opposite the remains of a bookseller label on the pastedown endpaper, otherwise the book is especially clean. Four or five dog-eared pages, other pages fine. No tears. Adverts at the rear, including the original title for 'And Then There Were None'. Wrapped in a facsimile dust jacket.
