Former owner's inscription in front of 3/4 volumes, else clean internally. Nice set of 4 from the Series of English Idylls published simultaneously by J.M. Dent in London and Dutton in New York from 1907-1909. This particular series is known for its striking and vivid illustrations by C.E. Brock which bring each text to life, as well as the beautiful design of the volumes themselves.
