Set of all 11 issues of Astounding SF that include the linked stories that are the first publication of "The Foundation Trilogy." Includes the following stories "Foundation" in May 1942, "Bridle and Saddle" in June 1942, "The Big and the Little" in August 1944, "The Wedge" in October 1944, "Dead Hand" in April 1945, "The Mule" in two parts, November and December 1945, "Now You See It" in January 1948 and "And Now You Don't" in three parts, November, December 1949 and January 1950. The first 2 issues are in the 'bedsheet' pulp format, the remaining issues are in digest format. All issues are in good condition with over all wear and these specific defects: 5/42 - wear to upper and lower spine, small chips and tears along outside edge of front cover, 6/42 - wear to lower end of spine, 8/44 - yellowed tape on spine and covers, 10/44 - damage to both ends of spine, back cover taped to mag, 4/45 - small tear to lower spine, 11/45 - no other defects, 12/45 - small amount of wear to lower spine, 1/48 - wear to upper spine end, crease to front cove, 11/49 - crease to front cover, bookstore stamp on table of contents, 11/49 - bookstore stamp to table of contents, 1/50 - spine damage, tape to spine. All 11 of the issues are signed by Asimov on the title page of his story.
