First UK Edition. Publisher's blue boards with silver spine lettering. Translated by Thomas Warburton. Spine slightly faded and comparable fading to the top and right hand edges of the back board (likely caused by a smaller book sitting next door to it on a shelf). Full page and in-text illustrations by Jansson throughout. No inscriptions. Overall a VG+ copy. No dust wrapper. This book would definitely take a D/W if one could be found. A nice copy. Scarce.
