With colour illustrations by Shepard to almost every page, and colour illustrated maps as endpapers. In publisher's blue, red and brown cloth bindings pictorially blocked in gilt, uniform pictorial dust-jackets. Contents clean, discreet inscription to 'Pooh', which is neatly price clipped, edges a little dusty, jackets bright and fresh. Near fine. These children's classics, first published with black and white illustrations by Shepard in 1926, 1928 and 1931, now appearing for the first time with his delightful drawings in colour. Complete as published- the two supplemental poetry volumes were not issued in this format. A rare set in attractive state.
