Description

First UK Edition/First Printing. Hardcover. Very good book in a very good unclipped dust jacket. The first state book is with black boards, bumped at the bottom of the spine, with a spine lean and a small stain to the lower margin of page 10 and 11, not affecting the text. The first state jacket has the wider flaps and priced 16s. Some light wear along the edges with more so to the lower spine. A controversial book at the time of publication, made into an equally controversial 1971 film by Stanley Kubrick.
