Eisenhower at the base of the facsimile D-Day "Order of the Day." There is very slight offsetting of Eisenhower's signature onto the limitation page opposite; large chip to the clear acetate wrapper; very slight foxing to the fore-edge of the text block; slipcase sunned and rubbed at edges. Laid in is a copy SHAEF broadside in which Eisenhower relinquished Combined Command, July 14, 1945.
