Though this copy lacks the title leaves of the latter five parts, the stories are complete, with the second printing text of the first part, and state 'A' of the text of the third part, on page 240, per BAL. It is among Irving's masterworks, printing for the first time in complete book form "Rip Van Winkle" (Part I), "Old Christmas" (Part V), and "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" (Part VI) - all present here.
