(1699). Contemporary panelled sheep, good with some light general wear and rubbing, careful professional repair to the leather at the top of the spine and to the front board, boards slightly splayed. Contents good and tight, generous margins throughout, a few small worm tracks, light water staining to the bottom section of some leaves, a few leaves a little browned. A very good copy of this important work. Sir William Petty, fellow of the Royal Society invented the term "political arithmetick" for the application of statistics to economics.
