Small 4to. 7.25 x 9.5 in. 342 pp. First issue, in original mauve cloth with large gilt panels with dark blue borders and large pictorial onlay; titled in gilt on spine, top edge gilt. Complete with eight color plates and blue illustrated endpapers by Jessie Willcox Smith. A very nice copy of a beautiful fairy tale, and one of MacDonald's masterpieces.
