Bloomsbury, London - first edition, first impression. The scarce first printing of the second Harry Potter novel - full number line to '1' to the copyright page. A nice copy with one notable flaw and priced accordingly. Very Good: firm and square binding in sharp pictorial laminated boards; a little pushing to the spine tips and a tiny rub to one corner; toned to the edge of the page block with a trace of faint spotting to the top-edge; the original owner has boldly decorated the title page with her name and school class in purple highlighter pen, with bleed through to the verso of the page (see photos) - this is the only such writing or marking in the book; a couple of tiny spots to the margin, else internally very clean. The unclipped dustwrapper (priced 10.99 and with all the correct points) is Very Good+: vibrant colours, very slightly faded to the spine; some wrinkling to the ends of the spine and to the corner tips; free from tears; presented in a removable, archival-quality Brodart protective cover. All orders are sent very carefully wrapped in bubble wrap and sturdy cardboard.
