Book is clean, tight, unmarked, pages fresh--nearly like new, just the slightest rubbing to bottom edge of boards. Copyright page has 3-2 but no first edition statement. Dust jacket has a few tears to top back panel, else Near Fine; see photos. Original $2.00 price intact on flap. Ads for Goodnight Moon (1947), Wait Till the Moon is Full (1948), and The Important Book (1949) but no other 1949 or any of the 1950 Brown books published by Harper mentioned. Assume 1949 printing. An absolutely lovely, seemingly untouched, very early copy of this book, normally read to pieces.
