A presentation copy, inscribed to Michael McCurdy: "For Michael Anew? Ken Kesey," on the front endpaper; with unidentified signature on the back endpaper. McCurdy (1942-2016), the award-winning children's illustrator, founded Penmaen Press, which published works by Allen Ginsberg, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, and other Kesey contemporaries.
