Complete set of 48 vols., 12mo. approx. 16.5 x 10.5cm). Half dark green 19th century morocco with gilt raised bands, thistle gilt tooling to panels. Marbled boards, edges and endpapers. Engraved frontispiece and title-page to each volume. The frontispiece and title page of Volume 9 (Mortality) are water stained, and one gather of Volume 38 (Talisman) is slightly sprung. Each volume has a plain bookplate with "Clara Ada Blake, the gift of her dear Papa, Ewell, 1865." pasted on to the front endpaper. Marbled boards are a little scuffed in places and there are a few tiny scuffs to morocco spines. Overall a Very Good Set.
