Seven vols, octavo. Finely bound by Riviere and Son in full blue morocco, spines lettered and decorated in gilt, twin gilt rule to boards, decorative inner gilt dentelles, top edge gilt, endpapers illustrated as map of London (Fleet Street area).
Illustrated throughout with about 100 illustrations and portraits, by Herbert Railton.
