The text pages are in elaborate script on a decorated background, set within ornate borders, many with accompanying illustrations. Original publishers olive green cloth with gilt and colour pictorial decorations to upper cover, gilt lettering and pictorial decorations to spine. Top edges gilt. Pictorial endpapers. Complete with scarce gilt pictorial dustwrapper. Very slight shelfwear to corners and spine ends, slight bubbling to endpapers. d/w has general wear and tear with some loss to tail of spine but the graphic illustrations are unaffected. Owners bookplate and inscription. Overall a handsome, unfaded copy of this exquisite work. 4to, unpaginated.
