Vol 2 with no title page, starting with the letter K with minor loss of text, i.e affecting possible 5 words on page 2, and a few leaves creased at the end. A splendid set, handsome in the original binding with brown calf and red lettering with gilt decorations on spine with red titling pieces.

Samuel Johnson's 'A Dictionary of the English Language' is among the most influential dictionaries in the history of the English language. First published on 15 April 1755, the dictionary offered comprehensive definitions and illustrative examples of usage.
