First paperback edition, first impression, international version, for export only, marked "Not for sale in UK" to the rear wrapper panel and with the promotional dust jacket. The first paperback edition to be priced and sold in the UK was the second printing issued the following year. This example includes the promotional movie tie-in dust jacket, issued circa 1967. The promotional dust jackets were intended to adorn unsold copies of the first printing remaining in bookshops at the time of the film release in 1967.
