Simon & Schuster. Very Good+. 1961. First Edition; First Printing. Paperback. Advance reading copy in original white wraps and blue type stating "To be published October 10, 1961" "Price $5.95" on front cover. Stated "First Printing" on copyright page, but actually pre-publication copy. Wraps are toned with just a little wear spine edges and about 1/2" at top edge of front cover. Back cover has a 1/8" tear and very modest soiling from rubbing on shelf. Faint toning to page edges, but pages themselves are unaffected and pristine. Book appears to have never been cracked open. .

Catch-22 is a satirical war novel by American author Joseph Heller, first published in 1961. The novel is set during World War II, from 1942 to 1944, and follows Captain John Yossarian, a U.S. Army Air Forces B-25 bombardier, and the other airmen in the camp, who attempt to maintain their sanity while fulfilling their service requirements so that they can return home.
