Waugh's working title for the book was "Bright Young Things," a tabloid nickname for the hard-partying young aristocrats and socialites of 1920s London whom he satirizes herein. 8vo green cloth-backed, decorated yellow paper boards; spine stamped in yellow; top edge black. Fading to cloth at ends of spine and a spot near the center, spine cloth a bit rumpled, otherwise about very good with paper-covering still bright and black top-edge color still strong. In good to very good dust jacket with professional repair to spine and corners, and light glass-ring on rear panel. A scarce book in jacket.
