The Gormenghast trilogy, all 1st editions with uniform bright red cloth hard covers with no cover wear, and gilt titles on spines; no inscriptions. 1) Titus Groan published in 1946, 438 clean pages, second impression dust jacket, price 15s net, has no wear just some mild duskiness at edges. 2) Gormenghast published 1950, 454 clean pages, clipped dust jacket shows no exterior wear but has old tape (?) marks on interior flaps, and is in protective sleeve. 3) Titus Alone published 1959, 223 clean pages, dust jacket shows no wear apart from some mild duskiness at edges. Three fine 1st edition volumes with very good and near fine dust jackets.
