Both UK first edition, first printings. Comprising:The Hundred and One Dalmatians and The Starlight Barking. The Hundred and One Dalmatians:the book has no inscriptions and is near fine. The dust wrapper is not price clipped and has some flecking to the spine. Some light chipping to the edges and spine tips - some spotting. The Starlight Barking dust wrapper is clipped (small name and address to the top of the front flap of DJ and to the half title of the book) some light edgewear to the DJ. Rare as a pair. Disney adapted the novel into an animated film, released to cinemas on 25 January 1961 as One Hundred and One Dalmatians. It became the tenth highest-grossing film of 1961, and one of the studio's most popular films of the decade.
