Hardcover, first edition, with plastic protective dust jacket, 196pp. Jacket design by Barry Trengrove and original price of 16s printed on inner front flap; jacket spine lightly sunned. Previous owner's name (Roy Fowler, biographer of Orson Welles) and purchase year and place penned to FEP. Water mark at REP and rear pastedown, this has bled throughout to gutter of pages 155-179 and is quite faint. Small mark to page block head and leading corners of jacket are faintly worn. Three small nicks to front hinge; some small and faint marks on ten early pages, mostly in margins. Spine is tight, boards and pages are sound, text is clear throughout. Very good condition. AD.
