This is a near fine copy of The Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer. The Medici Society released a 3-volume set of the book in 1913, and this is the rebinding of that 3-volume set in one volume, published in 1928. The book has been bound by Sangorski & Sutcliffe of London in a beautiful brown leather with gilt and imprinted latches made to appear as if it is a binding of olden days. The pages have gilt edges, and scattered throughout are color illustrations by W. Russell Flint.
