A first issue copy (R49 on page 447 and $8.95 on dj). Book is slightly bumped to upper spine ends. Has some small rubbing to gilt lettering(most prominent at doubleday where last letter is mostly rubbed off. Has a 2" tear to cloth at top of spine and smaller tears at corners. The jacket is in ok condition but has been restored with tape on inner-part. Has 8 tape restorations inside. It retains the original price of 8.95 and is the true first state jacket. The jacket has most loss on back by spine as seen in pictures. The book is fresh inside and has the first edition printed on title-page.
