The contents are tight, clean, without marks, appears very gently read, The blue cloth is beautifully bright, clean, square. Silver letters on spine are exceptionally bright. Stained top edge is slightly faded, else a truly near fine copy. The price-clipped dustjacket is bright, clean, with slight shelf wear, rubbing at corners, 1/8" piece off top of spine. Very small piece off bottom of spine and off top & rear of rear panel flap. Laid in is the author's autograph on a plain stiff card, the size & shape of a bookmark.The signature done in dark blue ink is large, measuring 4 1/2" across and 1" tall at the capital G in George. collector's copy.
