A first edition, first printing published by Macmillan in 1902. A very good copy with one neat name and bookplate to the front pastedown - off-setting to the front endpaper. Some rubbing to the edges and to the corners. Small loss to the edge of the spine. Spine full of colour. The famous collection of stories including 'How the Camel got his Hump', 'How the Leopard got his Spots' and the long forgotten story, 'How the Whale got his Throat'. Rare.
