Description

A beautiful full black leather Collector's Edition of the late Ken Kesey's best known work and his first book, signed by the author on the signature page in bright purple, gold and green metallic paint -- one of the most elaborate signatures we have seen in the Easton Press edition [and the camera does not do it justice]. Very scarce in the signed Easton edition, the book has gold gilt cover designs and page edges, moire silk endpapers and bound-in silk bookmark. The book, including the gold gilt, is in fine condition but for what appears to be a minor repair, the reattachment of the glassine sheet that protects the metallic signature. Includes the Publisher's Note and Certificate of Authenticity from Easton Press. A wonderful copy. In 1975, the book was made into a very successful major motion picture starring Jack Nicholson, considered by many to be one of the best films in motion picture history.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is a novel written by Ken Kesey, first published in 1962. The book is a powerful critique of the mental health system and a poignant study of institutional processes and the human mind.
