Condition: fine as issued Production details according to the publisher: Limited to 250 copies. 314 pages. Trimmed page size 240 x 170mm. Signed by Gregory Manchess (artist). Printed letterpress on 150gsm Zerkall Smooth mould made paper by Phil Abel and Robert Hetherington of Hand and Eye Letterpress. Black ink throughout, with two colours on the title, half title and signature pages. 10 tipped in colour plates with tissue guards, including frontispiece. The Numbered edition is half-bound in finest, hand polished, burgundy goatskin leather, supplied by Harmatan and Oakridge who are amongst the best book leather tanneries in the world. Marbled paper is designed and supplied by Freya Scott of Paperwilds. There are five raised bands to the spine, with lettering and ornament stamped in gold. Lines around the bands are hand tooled in gold. The book blocks are hand gilded on three edges. Silk ribbon marker. Leather headcaps are sculpted over the endbands. This book comes in a curved edge slipcase with black goatskin leather ends. The cloth wrap is foil blocked in gold with a design by Gregory Manchess. Lined with burgundy suede. First and Fine.
