Trace of tarnish to gilt title, blue topstain is uniform with only a slight fade. There is pink to top of front and rear pastedown from some damp, and a bit of darkening to endpages, and a tiny bump to bottom board edge, else tight, square and unmarked. The DJ in mylar is price clipped with top edge dampstains to rear panel and spine and a hint of darkening to spine. Covici Friede printed above black out on spine. Steinbeck titles and $2.50 price on back of jacket. McBride colophon to last page of text. NO mention of Steinbeck as author of "Of Mice and Men" to front jacket panel. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall .
