First edition of the follow-up volume to Ghost Stories of an Antiquary, collecting seven more of Montague Rhodes James's classic horror stories, including 'A School Story,' 'The Rose Garden,' 'Casting the Runes,' and 'Martin's Close.' Some minor browning and spotting, contemporary gift inscription to front endpaper; cloth slightly darkened at spine with minor rubbing to extremities, but overall very good.

Ghost-Stories of an Antiquary is a collection of short ghost stories by M. R. James. It was first published in 1904 by Edward Arnold, inspired by the author's lifelong fascination with antiquities.
