King, Stephen and Straub, Peter. The Talisman. New York: Viking, 1984. 644p. First edition, with inscription by King: "To Al - Best wishes and welcome to the territories! Merry Christmas - Stephen King 12/13/84". Slight bump to first pages of volume. Dust jacket has edge wear, and there is a small tear at the bottom of the front cover, roughly an inch and running into the lower portion of the R is Straub's name. These marks of wear are shown on the accompanying photographs. Overall an early inscription by King, in the month following publication, and in very good condition.
