Each book is SIGNED BY EISENHOWER on special book-plates. A note on provenaqnce: The books were obtained from the niece of Lillian H. (Rusty) Brown, who was private secretary to Ike and Mamie Eisenhower from 1962-1967, at Gettysburg and Palm Desert. She had been a member of the White House secretarial staff when she was asked by John Eisenhower, his son, in 1961 to assist him in researching "The White House Years".
