First edition. Fine having previous owner's stamp and inventory number on title page in about fine dust jacket having an 8 mm. closed tear at top of front panel, 3 mm. worn tear at upper front spine corner, 1 cm. worn tear at top rear spine corner, a crease in the rear flap and scattered short wrinkles in gold foil of jacket. This book looks much better than it sounds with most of the jacket wear at the head of the spine and the stamp on the title page is very understated, blending in well with the existing printing.

Interview with the Vampire, published in 1976, is a dark fantasy and gothic horror novel by Anne Rice, the first book in her series The Vampire Chronicles. It centers on the vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac, who tells the story of his life to a reporter, detailing his transformation into a vampire, his relationships with other vampires, and his quest for meaning in his undead existence.
