Black cloth over boards with black lettered gold labels (near fine) on spine and front board. Volume has 1928 on title page making it a later printing (not specified). Copyright page has crest and is dated 1927. The endpapers are perfect and there are no markings within. The Tan jacket is decorated with orange decorative bands with black lettered title, author info, publisher info. Unfortunately the lettering is also within the orange bands which denotes a later state jacket (second state). Price is $2.00 as is the first state. There is printed verbiage on back of jacket as well as the two folds. Jacket is heavily chipped at top of spine with less loss at bottom spine and corners. The jacket spine is discolored but quite readable. Additional information and/or photos available upon request.
