This is the First Edition Library's facsimile of the original softcover two-volume publication of Nabokov's classic novel, originally banned in most countries. It is part of the First Edition Library's "published in Paris" series of books that were originally banned. Bright green cloth, no fading. Close inspection shows a tiny bit of wear at head and heel of spine, hard to see but there. In the original clamshell case. There is a dark spot on the bottom of the case, otherwise the case is in fine condition. The First Edition Library published exact facsimiles of desirable first editions, down to the smallest details- cloth, paper, binding, and first edition points were identical to the original. This is one of the most difficult of the First Edition Library titles to find.
