Very good +/Good. 118, [2] p. 26 cm. 5 full page illustrations and numerous smaller, in partial colour or b&w. Red cloth in mylar-covered dustjacket. Jacket has some chips and tears to extremities and faded spine. Three inch tape repair on front of jacket. A little soiling to rear. Slight fading to book spine ends. A little discolouration to front free endpaper. Nancy Ekholm Burkert is an American artist and illustrator whose most celebrated work is the picture book Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1972), a New York Times Notable Book and a Caldecott Honor Book. James and the Giant Peach was her first illustration work. This is Dahl's second book after Gremlins.
