Pocket paperbound book in Burroughs' illustrated dustwrapper. 226 pp. The first printing, second issue of the beat classic novel by Burroughs. Second issue points apply with new price NF 18 francs on rear cover. This copy in very good condition with a small area of light staining to the bottom of the front endpaper spilling over slightly on to the inside front cover. Binding is square and covers are clean. The thick illustrated dustwrapper (designed by Burroughs himself) is also in very good condition with light soiling and wear. A solid example overall of what has become, along with On The Road and Howl, part of the classic beat triangle of books most sought after by collectors.
