The Space Trilogy is a series of science fiction novels by C.S. Lewis, famous for his later series, The Chronicles of Narnia. The trilogy follows Elwin Ransom as he travels through space and encounters various alien beings, especially on the planets of Malacandra and Perelandra. It deals with themes of good versus evil, the nature of humanity, and Christian symbolism.
