Clean and Near Fine (just a hint of very light fraying at the front panel's upper tip) in an unsually bright, easily Near Fine dustjacket. One or two tiny closed tears along the rear panel's top-edge, just the slightest trace of soiling to the rear panel. Internally pristine, with no writing or markings of any kind. Wonderfully illustrated throughout in rich color by the great maestro Bemelmans. The 5th and final title in the beloved Madeline series issued in the author's lifetime. Truly a collector's copy, the nicest this bookseller has seen.
