Handsome view of the centre of the Dutch town of Gouda. Title on lower edge in four languages: Dutch, French, German and Italian. This print was produced in Augsburg by Georg Balthazar Probst, who specialised in producing optical prints of European cities, prints which could be viewed through an optical device to give an impression of deepened perspective.
